Wisconsin Fire Departments Patch Display, Sauk City Fire Department Collecting Wisconsin Fire Department Patches for display at our Firehouse. I am Lt. Dan Kirch with the Sauk City Volunteer Fire Department.

For the past year, I have been working on a patch display for our firehouse to feature patches from Wisconsin Fire Departments. There are over 800 Fire Departments in Wisconsin and I currently have patches from about 350 of them. I am hoping to get as many patches as I can to display on the walls of the firehouse. I am looking for patches from current departments as well as departments of the past

. I have created this page to share the display online and get the word out about the collection. This collection will never be sold or put into a private collection, It will always be displayed at our firehouse or a fire museum in Wisconsin. We are the oldest organized Volunteer Fire Department in the State and part of keeping the history of the fire service alive is with the display of this patch collection.
