Let's get you in the driver's seat! This course is designed for students looking to complete the required 30 hours of classroom instruction of Driver's Education and includes videos, lectures, presentations, tests and more. There is no behind the wheel instruction included in this program.

🥊 Rock Steady Boxing 🥊

Rock Steady boxing is a "boxing-for-fitness" program designed for people diagnosed with Parkinson's disease or for those that have problems with balance. Clients will participate in non-contact boxing drills that help build motor skills, balance and coordination through a variety of different exercises including punching bags, hitting focus mitts, and some glove-to-glove contact.

🍳 Stayin’ Cool in the Kitchen! 👩‍🍳

We put the FUN in fundamental life skills! Our elementary students joined us last week for an incredible Kids Cooking Camp, where they got hands-on experience creating tasty recipes while building life skills they can use for years to come.

From measuring ingredients and preparing food to practicing kitchen safety and learning the importance of cleanup, our young chefs were busy learning, creating, and sampling yummy treats along the way! 😋

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing instructor, Danielle Armbrust, and to all of the young chefs who made this camp such a fun and memorable experience! ❤️

☀️ What an INCREDIBLE Summer this has been! ☀️

As we wrap up another amazing summer of Community Education, we simply want to say THANK YOU. ❤️

To our participants: Thank you for spending your summer learning, creating, exploring, competing, and making memories with us!

To our families: Thank you for choosing Sauk Rapids-Rice Community Ed and trusting us to be part of your family's summer. Your support allows us to offer meaningful opportunities for learners of all ages and tailor our programs to our community's needs.

To our instructors, coaches, volunteers, and staff: Thank you for sharing your time, talents, and passion. Whether you led a camp, coached a team, taught a class, or helped behind the scenes, you made this summer possible and we could not have done it without YOU!

From science experiments and robotics to art, reading, and swimming and athletic programs, this summer was filled with smiles, friendships, and new experiences for people of all ages and backgrounds.

Kinder Kamp was Kinda Awesome! 🥳🏫🍎

This week two groups of incoming Kindergarteners got to socialize with incoming peers, explore the classroom, learn classroom rules and expectations, work on their confidence and hallway behaviors, and more. We hope it sparked excitement for their big Kindergarten adventure ahead in the coming weeks!

BIG thanks to their families and our instructors, Carol Mead and Samantha Frank, for giving them a great starting point in their educational path! Check out a couple pictures of our Kinder Kampers below and tell us if your little ones are excited to head into the 2026-2027 school year! 💚💛

Join Jacki Oltz from A Girl and Her Brush Painting Workshops for a fun, creative, and stress-free evening creating your own stenciled door mat! Choose from two designs: 🍂 "Hello Pumpkin" for fall or 🎄 "Probably Watching Christmas Movies" for the holiday season. Your design will be ready to stencil when you arrive with all supplies included!
