🚧 DEADLY CRASH: A 23-YEAR-OLD ROAD RANGER WAS KILLED WHILE WORKING A CRASH SCENE ON I-95 IN FLORIDA
Troopers Say a Car Drove Into a Marked Lane Closure Early Sunday in Palm Beach County, Florida.

Police Video Shows A Dramatic Rescue From A Burning Jeep Early Sunday In Holbrook, Massachusetts.

- Around 3:20 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, a Jeep left the road on Pine Street in Holbrook, a town south of Boston

A Sunday Night Shootout on the City's West Side Ended With the Suspect Critically Hurt and Police Searching for a Man Who Got Away.

- According to Police Chief Jesse Salame, the man realized he was being followed, pulled a gun out of the window and fired at officers. Officers returned fire.

- The suspect was wounded, collapsed in a parking lot a short distance away and was taken into custody. He was reported in critical condition at a hospital.
- His vehicle later struck a tree at a Burger King.
- A front-seat passenger was taken into custody. A back-seat passenger escaped during the chase, and police were still searching for that person.
- Four officers from the department's covert unit were involved. No officers and no bystanders were hurt.
- A handgun was recovered from the suspect's vehicle. Other vehicles were caught in the crossfire.

- Using information from witnesses, police found Valentin Alberto Rodriguez, 38, of Montclair at his home near the crash scene.
- He was arrested around 2:40 AM Sunday and booked into the West Valley Detention Center.
- He was booked on suspicion of DUI causing injury or death, driving with a 0.08% or higher blood alcohol level causing injury or death, felony hit-and-run, and gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated. Prosecutors will decide the formal charges.
- Rodriguez is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
