Sausalito Woman's Club Preservation Society A nonprofit 501(c)(3) dedicated to preserving the historic Sausalito Woman's Club landmark clubhouse and grounds, designed by Julia Morgan.

We are an all-volunteer organization devoted to the historic preservation of the Sausalito Woman's Club landmark clubhouse. The clubhouse is on the National Register of Historic Places and is the No. 1 Landmark in Sausalito, California. The building was designed by Julia Morgan, California’s first licensed woman architect, and completed in 1918. Julia Morgan's building designs embraced many of the

concepts that are fundamental to today's green movement in architecture. The clubhouse embodies important lessons in the environment, sustainability, urban planning and community action.

The Sausalito Players mounted two beautiful performances last night at the SWC clubhouse, “Something Unspoken,” a one-act play by Tennessee Williams and William Luce’s “Excerpts from The Belle of Amherst”. Kudos to veteran actresses Kat Shepherd and Julie Dimas, and to producer and director Jean Spaulding and her crew. ♥️🎭
