Flower Pounding Workshop @ SNCC, Art in the Garden series 🌺🌿
There’s just something about connecting with nature that feeds the soul… and then, in moments of childlike curiosity and play, to collaborate with nature by creating something beautiful from its colors and forms.. well I can’t think of a better way to spend a summer morning 🌞
Feeling so grateful to be leading these summer workshops in SNCC’s beautiful Native Peace Garden 🌿 feels good to tap into another creative side that feels too long neglected.
So I hope this week you find a moment to feed your soul something it’s been craving! Perhaps a walk in the woods or a chapter in your favorite book, or even a mouthful of cookie dough (been there lately too! 😋)… when we give ourselves these moments, we are creating our own inner peace and joy, and that truly is the most beautiful kind of art there is 🤍

Easter blessings 🤍💫 a time of renewal and rebirth… and the rising of the Sun/Son.
There are many ways that one can die. And there are many ways that one can rise again. Today reminds us that we too can be reborn in a new light. Like the Sun/Son that rises before us, we too can step out of the tombs of darkness and forge a new way ahead. A new dawn is coming, and together we step forward, in light, in strength, and in love.
Welcome Bodhi to this new earth. We’ve been waiting for you for so long, and are so grateful you are here. Cheers to new light and to the birth of a new way forward 🤍💫

“Let the beauty we love be what we do.
There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground.” ✨ [Rumi]
Amidst my greatest intentions to share more in this space, a greater pull took hold elsewhere. Understandably so, my creative endeavors as of late have been focused on this little being within. And as we move closer to his arrival, there are so many things coming to mind, and to heart. And yet it is this stillness I crave… this moment of kneeling, of surrender… this moment of love.
Let the beauty we love be what we do. No matter how you choose to create in this world, let it be from love. Let it be from truth. Let it be from that inner light source that lies within. Surely then, in all the hundreds of ways, we will find peace and joy in life’s adventure. And what a grand adventure it will be 🤍💫
One month to go until little Bodhi makes it earthside… until finally, this lifetime will feel complete 🤍✨ sending love to you all always… xx

In the season leaves should love,
since it gives them leave to move
through the wind, towards the ground
they were watching while they hung,
legend says there is a seam
stitching darkness like a name.

Now when dying grasses veil
earth from the sky in one last pale
wave, as autumn dies to bring
winter back, and then the spring,
we who die ourselves can peel
back another kind of veil

that hangs among us like thick smoke.
Tonight at last I feel it shake.
I feel the nights stretching away
thousands long behind the days
till they reach the darkness where
all of me is ancestor.

I move my hand and feel a touch
move with me, and when I brush
my own mind across another,
I am with my mother's mother.
Sure as footsteps in my waiting
self, I find her, and she brings

arms that carry answers for me,
intimate, a waiting bounty.
"Carry me." She leaves this trail
through a shudder of the veil,
and leaves, like amber where she stays,
a gift for her perpetual gaze.

“Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts.” ✨ [Rachel Carson, Silent Spring]
There is an intricate beauty in all things… an order, a design, an interwoven pattern that brings clarity and awe. It lies even in suffering, though it may be harder to find. And earth is our great reminder, wherever we look, that there is beauty and love in all things. As the trees lose their leaves, alas they are not lost at all, but RELEASED, allowing space for something new to grow in spring. 🍁
I find strength in earth, in creating with it and being with it. Especially in its woven form… it is a great reminder that we are all connected, in beauty and in love. And I hope to share that with you soon ☺️🌿🤍

My, how seasons change… 🍁🤍
Though winter has not yet come, I feel as if I’ve been dwelling in my own wintery space these last few months… hibernating into the soul. And come Spring, I’ll emerge with my own little cub, a surprise if ever there was one.
I know I’ve been absent in this space, though hoping to change that here soon. Sometimes, especially in today’s world, one just needs to escape, dive deep into love and into self, and gently emerge when the time feels right.
And now the time feels right as I’m feeling called back to this space, perhaps so this little one can say hello to the world. Or perhaps to unveil myself anew, to share what I have learned on this journey so far. Because after all, that’s what we are here for right… to ride life’s wild waves, to sink into the depths and float back to the top, to feel the sun, the light on our skin again… and to share that experience, to connect and to uplift… to remind others that you are not alone. And the light will always be there waiting for you to rise again.
I resurface with immense gratitude for your patience and love, your messages and support, and with so much love in my own heart space for all of you. Sending full moon blessings to you all 💫🤍 May all of your dreams reach fulfillment and may you always remember the light that shines within you.

To all Mothers, Grandmothers, and all the ancestral women who led us here on this path… the ones who have claimed the utmost creative empowerment, bringing life and love into this world. I admire you. I am grateful for you. And I am inspired by you always, just the way you are, in perfect divine creation 🤍🌷

Poplar petals 💛 walking the other day and came across these fallen petals and leaves from a nearby poplar tree. Time to press some petals!
Pressed flowers and leaves can be used to add beautiful natural elements to cards, paintings, or collage… or stand beautifully on their own in a frame, as a reminder of the beautiful earth and abundance that surrounds us always 🤍🌿
I try to mostly forage for fallen petals or flowers, leaving the ones attached for pollinators and the plant itself. Though if I pick some, I try to only take a few, with gratitude and love always.
Also pictured… some previous camellia medallions and gingko leaves already pressed.

Sometimes there are good days. Sometimes there are not so good days. But most of the time, there are both… the good and the bad existing all around us in the same moments of each day. What we tap into, what we feed and give our energy, our attention, our minds and hearts and bodies to, that is what we end up seeing and feeling and knowing.
But if we could remember that there is indeed rain on a sunny day, yet also sun on a rainy day, we can find the good always. Even when we are not at our best 😉🌿
This is the last serenade for this batch in the greenhouse… they’ll be going into the ground soon, where their little roots will grow and grow, connecting to earth and their plant brothers and sisters, connecting to us all 🌿💫 sending those connecting, loving vibes to you this Sunday…
Also side note: every time I hear this song, those CD commercials from the 90s run through my head.. with 10 second snippets of classic songs. For the longest time, those were the only lyrics I knew of these great songs.. just 10 seconds worth of a chorus 🤣 Makes you wonder what else we’re only seeing parts and bits of.. perhaps it’s time to seek out the whole 💫🤍

Earthie soul is about connecting to the earth’s energy through travel and meditation in order to heal and inspire spiritual growth.

My name is Alexandra Chuck, and I am an earthie soul! After discovering how closely our connection to the earth is tied to our bodies and minds, I embarked on an incredible journey, exploring and learning from sacred sites on this earth. With earthie soul, I hope to inspire and guide you so you too can travel, meditate, and connect with the energetic power in the earth and within yourself.

We are all connected through Divine light and love. Through travel, we connect to the light within the earth and within each other. And through meditation, we connect to the light within ourselves. Both of these experiences allow us to meet different people, different places, and different sides of ourselves, inspiring us to grow, learn, and discover our true purpose on this earth.

Through spiritual travel tips (check out my “Chucklists!”) and guided earth meditations, earthie soul will help you find peace and happiness and help you align with your true purpose and higher self. Let the earth’s energy feed your soul and bring about positive change and healing.
