We’ve celebrated all week: Grinch Day, Christmas parties, Pre-K through 5th grade mid-year award recognition, and CHAMPS Graduation alongside our amazing Officer Travis and Sheriff Rick Kelley ().
We’ve also poured into our incredible staff through 12 Days of Treats.
What a full, joyful, and meaningful season at MYES!

Now, we’re officially counting down to a well-deserved Christmas respite: grateful, proud, and ready to recharge for the climb ahead. 🎄💙

Three of our students were recognized for reaching the Million Word Club, an incredible accomplishment that reflects dedication, perseverance, and a true love of reading.

Mr. Thomas and Mrs. Dean were there to cheer them on and celebrate their hard work. One student was unable to attend the meeting and was proudly recognized at school today instead.

🎄❤️ HUGE THANK YOU TO HELEN FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH ❤️🎄

At the very beginning of this school year, Helen First Baptist Church did something incredibly special — they reached out and asked for wish lists from our MYES teachers. That simple question turned into a powerful act of generosity and love.

Because of their hearts for education and for people, many of our teachers were surprised this Christmas with their wish lists fully fulfilled. Supplies, resources, and thoughtful gifts that directly support classrooms and students — all wrapped in kindness.

This is what community looks like.
This is what partnership looks like.
This is what loving schools well looks like.

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU, Helen First Baptist, for investing in our teachers, supporting our students, and reminding us how blessed we are to be surrounded by such an incredible community. 💙🏔️

On the 10th Day of Christmas… 🎄
Our MYES teachers were surprised with a pretty spectacular Christmas gift from their Front Office Team + their PTO Board, wrapped in appreciation for all they do each day. ❤️

To make the day even sweeter, Jason and Karen Thomas treated our staff to a delicious pizza and salad lunch—plus a surprise cake generously provided by our ESS partners. 🍕🥗🎂

We’re finishing this week strong as we continue to love on and support the teachers who pour their hearts into our students every single day.

We are so thankful for our incredible staff and the community that surrounds them with so much care. 💙🏔️
