Meet the Coaches at Hammond HS!

Hammond Boosters is excited to invite all incoming Golden Bears to our Meet the Coaches event on June 11, 2026, at 7:00 PM in the HaHs Auditorium.

This event is open to all current student-athletes and prospective student-athletes at Hammond High School. You will have the chance to meet the coaches and the HaHs Athletics Director and to ask questions about registering for and playing fall sports at Hammond. We look forward to seeing you there and sharing more about the opportunities available through our athletic programs.

We need a few more volunteers to help make the dance on Friday, June 5 (6–8 PM) a success! Even a short shift (setup, chaperoning, concessions, cleanup) makes a big impact.

Planning Committee Needed -
Back to School Block Party 8/21/26

The PTSA has hosted the Back to School Block Party the past few years to welcome students and families back to the school. We have food and games, and invite community groups to set up tables. This year’s event is scheduled for Friday, August 21st, from 5-7 pm, and many of the vendors need to be booked soon. However, we do not currently have a chairperson or committee to plan and run this event. We have the details from last year’s event so much of this fun event can just be replicated. But without volunteers, this event will not happen this coming school year. If you are willing to help, please email [email protected].

This season, we’re offering a variety of engaging, fun, and enriching experiences designed to keep participants active, learning, and making lasting memories. Spaces are limited, so we encourage early registration to secure your spot.

All 8th Grade PVMS students are invited to celebrate the end of their middle school journey at the 8th Grade Dance: “Hollywood Stars: Dress to Impress!” on Friday, June 5th from 6:00–8:00 PM.

This exciting evening will give students a chance to celebrate with friends and create lasting memories in true red‑carpet style. Students will enjoy dancing, desserts, and concessions in the cafeteria; games, volleyball, and socializing in the gym; plus plenty of photo booths and memory-making moments throughout the hallways. Tickets are $5 per student, and a parent or guardian must complete the online permission form for students to attend and receive a ticket. This event is fully sponsored by PTA parent volunteers, and support from our school community is essential to ensure a safe and fun experience for everyone. 8th Grade Yard Signs Now for Sale!

The PTSA is now selling 8th Grade Yard Signs so you can proudly showcase your graduate right in your front yard! These signs are a great way to recognize your child’s hard work, achievements, and this special moment in their journey.

Pick Up: June 4th 5:00pm - 7:00pm at the car loop of PVMS OR June 5th at 8th Grade Dance

The PTSA finished up Staff Appreciation Week with the coffee cart on Thursday and a Taco Bar on Friday! We are thankful for all of the hardworking PVMS staff members!! Thank you to everyone who helped or donated items to make this past week a success!!

Are You Interested in Becoming More Involved with the PTSA next year? We need you!!!

The PTSA is looking for a volunteer to fill the position of Secretary for the 2026-2027 school year. The Secretary takes notes at each meeting and works with the other Board members to organize PTSA activities. The PTSA has been celebrating our fantastic PVMS staff during this Staff Appreciation Week! On Monday, we scooped some delicious Taharka Brothers ice cream and today, staff members were invited to make their own trail mix at the Trail Mix Bar! They also received a small gift in their mailboxes on Tuesday.
