Are you someone who loves meeting new people and building strong connections in your community? Do you believe in the power of inclusion and want to help others find meaningful work? Do you have at least (1) year experience or working with people who have developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and autism?
We’re looking for a people person to join our team as an Employment Specialist supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and autism on their path to employment.
This role is all about:
✅ Connecting with local employers and building partnerships
✅ Supporting career seekers as they prepare for and succeed in jobs
✅ Advocating for inclusive workplaces and equitable opportunities
✅ Working independently, but always with the support of a collaborative team
💬 You’ll thrive in this role if you:
- Have a history of working at least a year with individuals with Developmental Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities or Autism. (Prior work experience, Volunteer Opportunities or Family History)
– Are outgoing, confident, and comfortable talking to new people
– Can build trust and maintain strong relationships
– Are organized, motivated, and passionate about helping others succeed
– Have experience in supported employment, job coaching, social work, or community services (but we’re open to the right person!)
