What a great Monday at the Rotary Club of Savannah! 💙💛

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming fellow Rotarians from Metropolitan Savannah Rotary, Rotary Club of Savannah East, Rotary Club of Savannah South, and Rotary Club of Savannah West for a wonderful time of fellowship and connection.

We were also honored to hear from our Rotary District 6920 Governor, Beverly Trainor, and wrapped up the meeting with Ron Feldner, the City of Savannah’s Chief of Water Resources, who shared valuable insight into the work happening across our community.

There’s always something special about bringing Rotarians together from across Savannah. Different clubs, one shared commitment to Service Above Self.

Infrastructure month continues! At our Aug. 17 meeting, we heard from Julie Musselman with Savannah's Waterfront and Richard Kessler, chairman of the Savannah Waterfront Community Improvement District. Pres. Critz also swapped banners with a Rotarian visiting from Nepal 🇳🇵

This week’s Rotary meeting featured Mike Traynor, Crystal Cooper, Stephanie Kaple, and Jennifer Dulong, who shared valuable insights on local efforts to end homelessness.

Their presentation highlighted the importance of collaboration among community organizations, service providers, and local leaders to address homelessness and support our neighbors in need.

Thank you to our speakers for an informative discussion and for the work you continue to do to strengthen our community.

Rotarians across District 6920 are invited to strengthen their leadership skills and deepen their Rotary knowledge at the upcoming Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) Sunshine Division training on Saturday, August 22nd, held in the Fine Arts Suite at Baldwin High School, Milledgeville, Georgia.

This full‑day program is designed to build a better Rotary through education, equipping participants with practical tools, fresh insights, and proven strategies to become stronger leaders and more impactful contributors to their clubs and communities.

Participants may enroll in one of the following RLI courses:
Part 1: The Rotarian — Foundations of Rotary membership and engagement
Part 2: The Rotary Club — Strengthening club operations, culture, and effectiveness
Part 3: The Rotary Journey — Advanced leadership, service, and Rotary impact
Graduate Course — Topic to be announced soon to all Part 3 graduates
Throughout the day, participants will explore key topics including Rotary opportunities, leadership development, service projects, grants, and Rotary’s rich history.
