Meet Joseph Snow, a graduate of Old Savannah City Mission’s 13-month residential program. On Easter Sunday he stood before his church and recited a powerful poem he had written about the resurrection. It was moving and powerful and the congregation gave him a standing ovation. Mr. Snow’s life serves as an example of hard work, perseverance, and God’s grace.

We are so grateful to the Pooler Lions Club for their generous donation of hygiene kits to support those we serve at Old Savannah City Mission. These simple but essential items help restore dignity to our neighbors experiencing homelessness. Thank you for partnering with us to care for our community.

Just over a year ago, these gentlemen walked through our doors carrying heavy burdens of homelessness, incarceration and broken circumstances. Today they walk forward with hope, faith and a new direction. Transformation is possible. We are so proud of them and grateful to everyone who help make stories like this a reality.

Today we celebrate four incredible men who have graduated from our 13-month restoration and recovery program! Once facing homelessness, they committed to the hard work of healing and transformation. Through perseverance, discipleship, and the grace of God, they have completed this journey and are stepping forward with renewed hope and purpose. We are so proud of the men they’ve become. Please join us in celebrating their courage and in prayer for their continued success in this new chapter. “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.” Philippians 1:6

Please come and join Old Savannah City Mission, Savannah Police Dept. and Magic Marc on Feb. 14th
for our 4th annual spreading love in our community by picking up trash and keeping Savannah clean.
Event starts at 10:00am and all sanitation items ( gloves, pickers & trash bags ) will be distributed.

Lunch will be provided !

So come out and be a part of the Magic and make all trash Disappear in our Neighborhood !!
