🎉 Long Timer Adoption! 🎉
On February 20th, 2026, Lovely was brought into CCAS. Once on our adoption floor, Lovely began her search for a new forever family. Days turned to weeks, and then weeks to months. As time went on, Lovely began to show signs of stress in the kennel, sending alarm bells ringing for staff. Time was beginning to run out - and fast. Knowing this, volunteers made a social media post online as a last resort to help spread the word about Lovely - and it did not disappoint!
This past Tuesday, after nearly 100 days of being in the shelter, Lovely was finally adopted and taken into her new forever home! Lovely's adopter helped continue her story, and for that we are forever grateful. We wish you both the best! 💖
