It took an army of fabulousness. We put on a tea with a program yesterday for the Savannah Newcomers.
Nice to see we could pull it off. We could do it again.
We had chair movers, place setters, ticket takers, tray garnishers, food makers - Victoria sponge, lemon tarts, tassies, lady fingers, tea sandwiches, scones, etc., costumed interpreters, tour guides, dish washers, and taker-downers. It came off beautifully and everyone hugged when it was over.

The Green-Meldrim House (GMH) is celebrating the nation’s 250th birthday by looking back 150 years.
Join us for a special commemoration of the 1876 American Centennial.
Event Details
· Date: Sunday, August 16
· Times: 2:00 PM and 3:30 PM (Two performances)
· Location: Green-Meldrim House, First Floor (Madison Square)
· Venue Style: 1853 Gothic Revival style town house
· Comfort: Fully air-conditioned indoor spaces
What to Expect:
· Costumed Interpreters: Performers will bring history to life throughout the first floor.
· Local History: Discover how Savannah residents celebrated the
