Do you believe families deserve support, connection, and someone in their corner?

Brightside is looking for a Family Support Specialist to join our team and help support children and families as they navigate some of life’s most challenging moments.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to build relationships, connect families to resources, and help create positive experiences for children and the people who love them.

If you’re passionate about supporting families and making a difference in our community, we’d love to hear from you.

Our CASA team showed up, learned, connected, and brought home new ideas to better support the children we serve. 💙

This past weekend, our CASA Program Director, Coordinators, and dedicated CASA volunteers attended the Georgia CASA Conference alongside advocates from across the state.

We’re grateful for every opportunity to grow our knowledge, strengthen our advocacy, and continue showing up for children in foster care. Because every child deserves someone in their corner. 💙

You’re invited to The Bright House Open House! 💙

For children in foster care, visits with their parents and loved ones can be an important part of staying connected and working toward reunification. The Bright House provides a safe, supportive space for those visits to happen.

Next Tuesday, we’re opening our doors so our community can see the space, learn more about the families we serve, and understand the role The Bright House plays in helping children and families stay connected.

Sometimes, a couch is more than a couch. ❤️

At the Bright House, it can be where a parent and child share a conversation, play a game, laugh together, or simply enjoy time with one another.

The Bright House provides supervised visitation for children in foster care and their families, creating a safe and welcoming space where meaningful connections can continue.

But there’s something you may not know: The Bright House also serves families involved in family law cases, providing a neutral and supportive space for court-ordered supervised visitation.

Different circumstances. Different families. The same need for connection.

Because every moment a child gets to spend time with someone they love matters.

Take a moment and think about the person who helped you become who you are today.

Maybe they were the person you called when you didn't know what to do.
Maybe they encouraged you when you wanted to give up.
Maybe they showed up when you needed them most.

For many of us, having someone in our corner is something we can count on.

But for young people aging out of foster care, that support isn't guaranteed.

The transition to adulthood shouldn't mean having to navigate housing, education, employment, and life's challenges completely alone.

Someone got you here. They deserve one, too.

Through the Fostering Success Act, you can support Brightside's efforts to help young people who have aged out of foster care access the support and opportunities they need to build a brighter future.
