Looking for a new job opportunity or a fresh start?

LegUp is a free workforce development program available through your library’s Bendable platform. Participants can complete online training in valuable job-readiness skills like time management, problem-solving, and teamwork—plus explore career pathways in manufacturing, warehousing, or healthcare.

Even better: those who complete the program earn a State Library-backed microcredential and are guaranteed a job interview with participating employers when entry-level openings are available.

Ready to take the next step? Stop by the library and ask us how to get started with LegUp!

What an incredible kickoff to Summer Reading 2026: Unearth a Story! 🦖📚

Despite the rainy weather, so many wonderful patrons came out to celebrate with us, and we are so thankful to everyone who braved the wet conditions to spend the day with us. Seeing so many smiling faces made the day truly special! ☔💚

Today’s Block Party featured a bounce house courtesy of the Hardin County Fire Department, delicious snow cones from Seven Treat One food truck, yard games, face painting, and even a dinosaur petting zoo! 🦕🍧🎨

A huge thank you to the Hardin County Fire Department for helping make the fun possible, and thank you to Ryan Burlesci, owner of Seven Treat One, for serving up tasty treats for our community.

We had an amazing time kicking off summer with all of you, and we can’t wait for the rest of our Summer Reading adventures!
