There's a lot happening at Blessingdales, The Living Vine Thrift Stores. Donations are coming in, racks need filling, and projects keep appearing at both of our locations, Georgetown and Abercorn.

We'd love help from:
✨ Small groups
✨ Community service projects
✨ Individuals ready to serve

Sorting, organizing, setting up displays, and keeping the store running all support the mission of The Living Vine and the moms and babies we serve.

Come for a few hours or make it part of your regular routine.

There's plenty of work for every set of hands!

Where mothers in need find preparation. 🌿
At The Living Vine, a safe place to live is just the beginning. Each mom also gets the tools, knowledge and confidence to build a stable future for herself and her baby.
Our residents take part in classes that cover:
🌿Medical: prenatal care, labor and delivery, and caring for a newborn
🌿Financial literacy: budgeting, saving and managing money with confidence
🌿Personal development: setting goals, building healthy habits and growing in self-worth and self-awareness
🌿Life skills: cooking, keeping a home and the everyday skills of independent living
🌿Community resources: knowing where to turn for support long after she leaves our doors
She doesn’t just learn these skills. She gets to practice them every day in a safe place that balances accountability and support!

Provision is more than meeting an immediate need—it’s making sure a mother has what she needs to keep moving forward.

At The Living Vine, that means a safe place to stay, meals, essential resources, and a community ready to come alongside her through pregnancy and beyond.

We are so thankful for everyone who came out today to celebrate 30 years of The Living Vine and support the mission that continues to serve women and their babies in our community.

We are especially grateful for Don and Claire Hodges, whose selfless sacrifice, faithful service, and courage to make a vision real helped build the foundation for everything we celebrated today.

Thirty years later, that vision is still changing lives—and we are so grateful for every person who has been part of it. 🤍

Today’s the day — we’re celebrating 30 years of The Living Vine!

Even if you haven’t RSVP’d, you’re welcome to come celebrate with us. For 30 years, The Living Vine has had the honor of supporting more than 400 women and their babies and helping create generational change—made possible by the incredible support of our community.

Come celebrate the lives impacted, the people who made it possible, and all that’s still to come.
