Huge thank you to everyone who showed up and packed the house for the first public participation sessions of SAV6: The Savannah Standard!

Our friends at Figary Learning put the Savannah Standard on full display yesterday, with help from the Front Porch Improv team. Together we walked through real customer-service scenarios built on the six SAV6 behaviors, with live polling and plenty of audience interaction along the way.

We’re looking for your best photos of Savannah as we prepare to design the 18th edition of Savannah: A Southern Journey. Your photo could be selected as the cover of our beautiful coffee table book and showcased to millions of visitors from around the world.

Our unique coffee table book serves as the ultimate resource guide for our visitors and is displayed in more than 12,000 lodging rooms throughout Savannah, reaching more than 11 million guests every year.

Know someone who may be interested in our annual photo contest? Please share this post and help us spread the word! The submission deadline is Friday, October 16.

On top of tons of publicity, and the winning photo gracing the cover of thousands of books, the winner will also receive a complimentary two-night stay at one of Savannah’s most beautiful and historic hotels, along with two gift certificates to award-winning local restaurants.
