ATTENTION: Savona Yard Sale Days is Tomorrow, Saturday, May 3

Please be advised that the Savona Yard Sale Days is happening tomorrow, Saturday, May 3rd. A Chicken BBQ will also be taking place at the Village Park.

We expect a significant increase in vehicle and pedestrian traffic. With that in mind, please use extra caution when crossing streets and be aware of pedestrians.

Important Notice:
We will NOT be closing McCoy Street this year. However, we are asking everyone to please park considerately to ensure we have clear access to the fire station and can respond to emergencies without delay.

Please DO NOT BLOCK the driveway at the Village Hall, and leave sufficient clearance from Orchard Street to Main Street (Route 415). Your cooperation is essential — we truly want to avoid having to close the street again in the future.

Even one poorly parked vehicle can delay our ability to respond in an emergency. Please help us keep the community safe.

As many of you may know, our Fire Chief (Car 33) tragically lost his home, five beloved dogs, and two cats in a devastating fire on April 11, 2025. A GoFundMe has been set up to help support the Chief and his family as they begin the difficult journey of rebuilding their lives.

Savona Fire Department, like many other departments, needs your help.

NO Experience is needed. No CDL needed to drive. FREE TRAINING! We supply everything you will need to be a volunteer firefighter, EMT, or both! The department needs your help today. Come support your community and see what you can do to help. Stop by Tuesday nights 6:30pm-8:00pm. There is a job for everyone! Or, contact a member or officer.
