With the current snowfall, we want to remind everyone to keep furnace vents, exhaust pipes, and gas meters clear of snow and ice. When these become blocked, it can cause dangerous situations like carbon monoxide buildup inside your home or prevent your heating system from operating properly.

Please take a few minutes to:
• Clear snow away from outside furnace and dryer vents
• Keep gas meters and regulators visible and accessible

A quick check can help keep your family safe and prevent emergency situations during the cold winter months.

With these cold temps, let's talk about warmer temps in July! Our second act that will be performing for our Chicken BBQ on July 11th will be J Plus Band !This father-daughter team brings a unique energy and versatility to every performance, making them one of Wisconsins most beloved duos. They will be playing 3:30-5:30. We have one more announcement coming of the headliner band that you wont want to miss!

Structure Fire Town of Springwater

On Tuesday, January 27th, 2026 at approximately 1:24am, the Saxeville-Springwater Fire Department responded to a reported shed fire in the Town of Springwater. While engine crew was responding, Waushara County Sherrifs Department dispatch center advised it was a mobile home on fire. The incident was upgraded to the working still level for mutual aid in our MABAS box card system.

Upon arrival, crews found a mobile home with flames visible. Firefighters began fire suppresion on the exterior. Interior and exterior crews worked to extinguish the fire.

The fire was extinguished and overhaul was completed.

No injuries to civilians or firefighters were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The Saxeville-Springwater Fire Department was assisted by Wild Rose Fire District, Poy Sippi Volunteer Fire Department, Redgranite Fire Department, Waushara County EMS and Waushara County Sheriff's Office

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Chimney Fire Town of Springwater

On Tuesday, January 20th, 2026 at approximately 12:20am, the Saxeville-Springwater Fire Department responded to a reported chimney fire in the Town of Springwater.

Upon arrival, crews found a single-family residence with visible smoke in the eaves of the house along with flames coming out the chimney. Firefighters immediately initiated investigation and found that the fire had spread to the structure. Interior and exterior crews worked to extinguish the fire.

The fire was brought under control. Crews remained on scene for several hours for overhaul and to ensure no further hazards were present.

No injuries to civilians or firefighters were reported.

The cause of the fire is believed to be from a fireplace fire that spread into the structure.

The Saxeville-Springwater Fire Department was assisted by Wild Rose Fire District Poy Sippi Volunteer Fire Department Redgranite FireDept West Bloomfield Fire Department Waushara County EMS and Waushara County Sheriff's Office
