Today, June 18th, is the last day to register to get a t-shirt for the Titan Trot! This fundraiser is supporting our Cross Country team in getting up and running for their first year! You can still register for the race after today, but you will not receive a shirt. The team thanks you for your support!

Tussey Mountain Class of 2025 Alumni:

This post is to notify all Tussey Mountain Class of 2025 alumni that applications are currently being accepted for the Saxton Liberty High School Alumni Association Scholarship. Applicants must be a Tussey Mountain Class of 2025 alumnus who has finished their first year of college with plans to return this upcoming academic year (Fall 2026).

Applications are available at the Tussey Mountain Elementary School office, the Tussey Mountain Middle School/High School office, and the Saxton Community Library.

Application Deadline: Friday, July 17, 2026.

We celebrate the accomplishments of our Tussey Mountain music students!

Congratulations to 5th grader Colston Chamberlain for receiving the Rising Star Award and our school's first Isaac Award in Acting for his outstanding portrayal of Greg Heffley, and to 8th grader Leland Detwiler for earning MVP honors at the Isaac Awards.

We also celebrate our school's recognition for incorporating student musicians into the production and thank Jabin Raycroft for performing guitar in the pit this year.

Congratulations to all participating students, including Kayleona Detwiler and Jessie Horton, who performed in the opening number, as well as students involved in the performance cut, those in attendance to support one another, and everyone who contributed to an encouraging season.

A special thank-you to the Altoona Community Theatre, Isaac Awards sponsors, and all who support the arts in our community. Another memorable highlight this season was welcoming Jeff Kinney to speak to students ahead of our March performances.

We thank Jeff for the wonderful conversation that resonated with our students. Thank you Jeff for your time and sharing your stories behind the book series with our students!

We thank all our students and families for all of your efforts!

The moment you have all been waiting for: The announcement of the 2nd Annual Food Truck and Vendor Festival at Tussey Mountain Middle/High School! Mark your calendars for this year's festival which will be held on Thursday, August 13th from 11:30 A.M. until 6:30 P.M.! We will have a lot happening here at 199 Front Street that day; New student tours from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., 5th Grade Orientation at 5:00 P.M., and Project iGuardian (open to all families and community members) starting at 6:30 P.M.! There will be music and picnic tables all day for you to enjoy your lunch and supper, so we hope to see you there!
