35 members attended the Memorial Service for the opening of the Huntingdon County Fireman’s Convention hosted by Smithfield Fire Co. this evening. The service included 2 of our own 35 Family we lost last year; Patty Leonard and Josephine Kelly! Family members from both attended the service along with several members.

6-16-26 12:16hrs Co 35 dispatched to assist Co 36 in the area of 174 Marble City Rd. for a dwelling fire, 911 reported a controlled burn got out of control and caught mobile home on fire, Chief 35 first on scene and reported working fire in mobile home, Deputy 36 arrived shortly afterwards assuming Command, Engine and Tanker 35 responded and assisted with suppression and overhaul.

1st call 15:18hrs - Co 35, Unit 15 and Rescue 36 dispatched for MVC on Raystown Road, 35 Units arrived to find pick up truck struck pole and sheered it off resulting in another vehicle striking pole. Lt 35-1 with command and Utility Co notified!

2nd call 19:10hrs - Co 35 dispatched for Truck 35 per request from 36 Chief to assist with Tree Fire on Sandy Run Rd. Truck 35 responded with 6, Command 36 had Truck 35 access from Horton Rd where aerial was set to assist in extinguishing tree burning at top! Due to rather large tree and location the tree was unable to be cut down for safety reasons.

6-14-26. 18:45hrs. Co 35 dispatched for tree down on Little Valley Road. Chief 35 and Capt 35-3 direct to find tree across both lanes of the road, Rescue 35 responded and crews worked with chainsaw to clear the road.

6-14-26 23:40hrs. Co 35 dispatched once again for tree down on Broad Top Mountain Road this time, Chief 35 direct to find tree blocking both lanes of travel, Rescue 35 responded, crews cut and worked for nearly an hour to open travel lanes, Penn Dot was notified that they would need to complete the clean up on the shoulders of the road.

6-14-26 12:55hrs Co 35 dispatched for Truck assist with Huntingdon County Co 3 on a CO alarm at Lake Raystown Resort Lodge, Chief 3 had command, after investigation a propane leak was actually found in the utility room, Truck 35 crew assisted with air monitoring, securing propane and ventilation. Unit 15 was also dispatched for an on scene standby by assignment and assisted with hydration for the crews.

6-12-26 00:43hrs Co 35, Unit 15 and 36 Rescue dispatched for an MVC at 911 Lower Main St, Chief 35 and Capt 35-2 direct to find a 1 vehicle accident with updated address of Main St & Lower Main St intersection, driver out of vehicle with no injuries, Chief 35 placed Unit 15 and Rescue 36 in service, Rescue 35 remained on scene till PSP arrived, after investigation personnel cleaned debris from roadway and PSP released fire personnel, Chief 35 placed box back in service.

6-11-26 @ 15:20hrs Co 35, Unit 15 and Rescue 36 dispatched for a 2 vehicle MVC on Saxton Road, Asst Chief 35-1 direct to find two vehicle crash with no entrapment and minor injuries and placed Rescue 36 available, EMS 15 assessed both operators and one was transported to hospital. Rescue 35’s staffing handled debris removal with no other actions needed. Fire police managed traffic control. Saxton PD investigated.
