rich heritage of Sayville and West Sayville. Headquartered at the historic Edwards Homestead, the oldest standing structure in Sayville, built around 1785, the society serves as the official custodian of the community’s history by collecting, preserving, and interpreting artifacts, documents, and rare photographs that chronicle the area's transformation over the centuries.
