As the Foundation begins its 14th year, we are proud to note that we have provided over $150,000.00 in grants to support the education of Sayville students. 100% of this funding has come from private donors, most of whom are the employees of the Sayville School District.

With our support hundreds of elementary students have received academic mentoring from paid high schoolers, students in all three elementary schools have had opportunities to learn computer programming, music are arts opportunities have been expanded, opportunities for our high school robotics, RISE and AP Capstone students have been enhanced, programs for our functional academic students have been enriched and the social and emotional needs of our students in their academic settings have been addressed.

Several programs initiated with Foundation funding have now earned their own line in the school budget, notably the award winning Model UN, the high school book club, elementary language instruction and the school stores.

We're all looking forward to a great 22-23 school year and continuing our support of the students of Sayville Schools!

Applications are being accepted now for the spring Homework Helpers. If you have a child in the high school who would be interested in spending some time tutoring elementary school children, have them stop by the high school main office to pick up an application.
