Redline Gear Cleaning NY thanks the members of the Blauvelt Fire Department for their commitment to clean gear and keeping their Firefighters Healthy and Safe!

Bright and early, the Redline Gear Cleaning truck is here!

Our members' gear takes a beating, between fires, car accidents, public assists, and other every day emergencies. Just in 2026, some Blauvelt gear has been worn over 40 times while responding to emergencies.

Several years ago, we took the initiative to reduce cancer causing carcinogens that our members get exposed to.

We use Redline Gear Cleaning to both clean and inspect all of our members personal protective equipment, allowing us to get a full life out of the gear as well as reduce members' exposure to cancer causing carcinogens that lingers in the fabrics.

Within 24 hours of notification, Redline Gear Cleaning NY was on scene at the West Babylon Fire Department decontaminating and cleaning 30 sets of turnout gear after a recent structure fire. West Babylon Fire Department remains committed to keeping their gear cleaned and their Firefighters healthy and safe.

🚒 We’re Heading to the Long Island Metro Fire/EMS Expo 🚑

Emergency DECON Services (EDS) and RedLine NY are proud to be exhibiting at this year’s Long Island Metro Fire/EMS Expo at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

This annual event—hosted in partnership by the New York State Association of Fire Chiefs and the Islip Town Fire/EMS Museum Educational Center—brings together fire and EMS professionals from across Long Island and the region for hands-on training, education, and industry innovation.

With 150+ vendors, apparatus displays, and seminars for responders of all ranks, it’s a must-attend event for the fire service.
