We’re excited to share that the Village of Scales Mound has been recognized by JCE Co-op as a “Connected Community” for achieving 100% fiber internet connectivity throughout our village! 🎉

This award recognizes communities that have made fiber broadband access available throughout their community, helping create stronger connections and greater opportunities for residents, businesses, and future generations.

Last week, communities from across northwest Illinois gathered at Chestnut Mountain Resort to celebrate this milestone and the partnerships that helped make it possible. We were honored to accept this recognition on behalf of the Village of Scales Mound.

A big thank you to JCE Co-op for investing in northwest Illinois communities and for helping bring this important infrastructure to Scales Mound. We’re proud to be part of a more connected future!

Lake Carroll we are coming to see you TONIGHT from 5-8pm!

Thursday we will be in Freeport out front of the Library from 12:30-4:00 and Scales Mound from 6:00-8:15pm for the last night of Volleyball League!

We have a lot of private events this weekend but be on the lookout for a pop up location to be announced!

As always, the trailer in the Stockton Subway parking lot will be open daily from 12-9!

Please join us in congratulating Chet on his 1-year anniversary with the Village!

Over the past year, he has become an important part of our Village team. We truly appreciate his hard work, positive attitude, and the initiative he shows every day. Whether it's a big project or a small detail, his efforts help keep our community looking its best and running smoothly.
