Last night, during the driving rain storm, a group of your Pleasant Hill Hose Company members gathered at the station and took the time to fully detail Engine 3 inside and out! The results speak for themselves. Engine 3 is ready for summer! Great job Andrew Bolduc, Hunter Cichon, and Evan Krum! The truck looks like it just came off the factory floor! 🚒☀️🧽

On this International Women’s Day, The Pleasant Hill Hose Company would like to recognize Lt. Jessica Gilbert. Jess has been a member of the company since 2020. After completing her FF I/II certification, Jess went on to obtain her EMT license, Wildland Firefighter certification, Fire Officer I certification, and she Is currently working to upgrade her EMT license to the Advanced EMT level. Jess Is a lifelong learner who always seeks to improve her skills and leads by example. And did we mention she is 8 months pregnant?!? Thanks for your dedication, commitment, and service to the Town of Scarborough Lt. Gilbert.

Advancing to Fire Officer I isn’t just about earning a certification, it’s about stepping into the responsibility of leading with clarity, backing up your crew, and making good decisions when it matters most.

The consistent demand for Fire Officer programs across the state highlights the commitment to building strong, capable leadership across the fire service in Maine. A big thank you to the host departments and state fire instructors for making these professional advancements and development possible.
