This is our last post, but before we sign off, we hope you'll read one last note...
Thank you. Thank you to each and every person who has supported One By One. Your support has taken women in the abyss of despair and restored their dignity.
Yet 2 million women still suffer worldwide. Our organization has changed -- we merged with Worldwide Fistula Fund -- but our purpose has not. Obstetric fistula is a devastating childbirth injury that leaves women leaking urine or f***s uncontrollably. It can be treated with surgery.

Sarah Omega and the survivors who joined our solidarity groups are still working to create change in Kenya. Alice Emasu and her organization, TERREWODE, are preparing to open a dedicated women's hospital in Uganda -- the first in East Africa.
From 2005 to 2018, we raised $6 million dollars and treated more than 1,000 women suffering from obstetric fistula. This work must continue. Together, we can
