Meet Anna, one of the caring and compassionate caregivers at Visiting Angels! 💙 Anna joined the team on March 6, 2026, bringing with her a heart for helping others and a genuine belief in the power of human connection.

A mom, artist, and Navy veteran, Anna loves spending her time outside of caregiving creating art, getting lost in a good book, and enjoying quiet moments at home with her family and cats. 🎨📚🐱

For Anna, caregiving is about so much more than lending a helping hand. It’s about companionship, dignity, warmth, and making sure each client feels heard and valued. She loves listening to their stories, sharing a laugh, and bringing a little extra comfort and calm to their day. ❤️

Meet this week's Employee Spotlight: 💙 Joni Sanchez!

Joni joined the Visiting Angels team in September 2024 after retiring from the Lake County Sheriff's Department in 2020. Following a difficult year of personal loss, Joni knew she needed to stay active and find a way to make a difference in her community.

A friend introduced her to Visiting Angels, and she quickly discovered that caregiving gave her exactly what she needed: the opportunity to help others while finding purpose and connection along the way. ❤️

Joni says, “I get to help people and they don't even know that they are helping me.” We’re grateful to have her compassion, strength and dedication as part of the Visiting Angels family!

Meet this week's Employee Spotlight: Barbara Grogans! 💙

Barbara joined the Visiting Angels team in May 2024 after retiring from insurance and following her calling to serve others. She first discovered Visiting Angels through a fellow volunteer and quickly found a passion for helping clients remain comfortable and independent in their own homes. 🏡🌳

A devoted wife, mom and grandmother, Barbara loves spending time outdoors, gardening, hiking and visiting National Parks. She also participates in the Great Cycle Challenge each September, riding 150 miles to help fight kids' cancer. 🚴‍♀️🏞️

We're grateful for the compassion, dedication and joy Barbara brings to her clients and the Visiting Angels family! 💙
