What an incredible afternoon of conversation, connection, and civic engagement! đź’™

The Regional Town Hall with Jon Rosenthal, Democratic candidate for Texas Railroad Commissioner, brought our communities together for an important discussion about the issues affecting Texans today—and the leadership we need moving forward.

A huge thank you to the Comal County Democratic Party for helping host such an informative and engaging event, alongside the Guadalupe County Democratic Party. It was especially exciting to hear from Democratic candidates representing our region, including Dr. Kristin Hook for Congressional District 21, Dr. Merrie Fox for Texas House District 73, and Eric Norman for Texas House District 44.

Events like this matter. They give voters an opportunity to meet the candidates, ask questions, hear directly about their priorities, and become informed before heading to the ballot box.

The energy in the room was amazing, the conversations were meaningful, and one thing was clear: people are ready to get involved, get organized, and VOTE! 🗳️

Thank you to everyone who showed up, participated, asked questions, and helped make this Regional Town Hall such a tremendous success.

This is what democracy looks like—neighbors coming together, getting informed, and preparing to make their voices heard on November 3!

đź’™ Get informed. Get involved. Get ready to VOTE!

Greg Abbott, Ken Paxton, and Dan Patrick have led this state for decades. The problems they are running on solving are problems they created. Texas needs new leadership.

This is a disgrace to our nation. Liam should be at home with his mother and starting school, but ICE just deported him to Mexico with his father.

The urgency of special elections seems to be shaped by whether Abbott’s party can win them. | Opinion

Happy National Dog Day to everyone except Ken Paxton.

Through her Imagination Library– which has given more than 1 million books to Texas children since its founding– and her incomparable music career, Dolly Parton touched the lives of countless Texans. Rest in peace, Dolly 💙

The U.S. Supreme Court decision regarding mail in voting confirms that the conservative justices are nothing but Trump lackeys, much like our Governor, Lt. Governor and current Attorney General. Texas, unlike the majority of states, has already sent its voter roll data to the Department of Justice (since Abbott, Patrick, and Paxton waste no time appeasing their boss); therefore, voters who choose to vote by mail can do so. Even the justices reasoned that states are free to ignore the “approved” voter lists returned to them by the Trump administration.

The Trump administration is attempting to exert unprecedented federal control over voter information and election procedures, areas that constitutionally fall under state jurisdiction, and that legal battle is far from over. We will not be afraid to save democracy.

Make sure you are registered to vote and have a plan to cast your ballot. If you are eligible to vote by mail, if possible, consider delivering your ballot on Election Day to your elections administration office. Once mailed or delivered, follow your county's instructions and track your ballot to ensure it is received and processed.

We encourage you to vote, whether during early voting (Oct. 19-30), on Election Day (Nov. 3), or if you are eligible, by mail. We must show the current administration that its attempt to make voting more difficult has failed.
