The SCUC ISD Education Foundation held its 3rd Annual Unsung Heroes Day, honoring the behind-the-scenes employees who keep our school district running at a high level.

Summer employees from every campus and department flocked to Samuel Clemens High School to enjoy a catered meal, carnival games, prizes, and most importantly, appreciation for their work to help make SCUC a destination district for employees as well as students and families.

We would like to extend our gratitude to the volunteers on the Education Foundation and its sponsors who labor tirelessly to improve education outcomes for all students and opportunities to recognize employees and community members.

Congratulations Byron P. Steele High School 2019 alumna Faith Ware Simon - a Master's at Harvard! Keep on shining!

Congratulations go out to Faith Ware Simon, Steele High School Class of 2015, & University of Texas at Austin, Class of 2019 for attaining her Masters of education in Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology (LDIT) from Harvard University.

Faith aspires to be a modern day Bill Nye by creating STEM education for altruistic efforts, further helping people to understand emerging science & technology, its role in their lives, and how it affects the greater society!

Faith would like to thank the faculty & support staff at Steele High School for helping to lay her academic foundation as she continues to achieve her goals!! SK all day… Go Knights

The UIL Lone Star Cup is an annual recognition based on a school’s performance in district and state championships, honoring the best overall athletic, fine arts, and academic programs in Texas. Well done, Knights!

Thank you Portillo's for the donation to our SCUC ISD Education Foundation and partnering with them and us to improve student and staff outcomes at SCUC!

The SCUC Education Foundation would like to extend its thanks to Portillo's for its generous donation this morning. The $8,316 gift from the restaurant which opened last week in our community will help the Foundation's mission to to provide resources that maximize and enrich innovative teaching and learning opportunities and recognize successes of students, staff, and educators.
