The PSAT can help students prepare for the SAT, learn more about their college readiness, and potentially qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Program.

Guiding the Way 🌪️💙💛

What a great evening at Schuylkill Haven Area High School for Back to School Night! We loved welcoming our students and families into the building and helping everyone get ready for another great year.

A special thank you to our Student Council members who volunteered their time this evening to provide tours and help our guests find their way around the high school. Your leadership, school spirit, and willingness to lend a hand are exactly what makes being a Hurricane so special!

🌪️ Hurricane Pride Was on Full Display! 💙💛

This past Wednesday evening, Rotary Field was filled with excitement, pride, and plenty of Hurricane spirit as we welcomed our students, families, coaches, and community to Meet the Hurricanes Night!

From our student-athletes and coaches to our band, cheerleaders, families, and fans, it was a special evening celebrating the people who make Schuylkill Haven proud. The energy and enthusiasm were on full display as we officially kicked off another year of Hurricane athletics!

A huge thank-you to everyone who came out to support our students and help make the evening so memorable.

Here’s to a season filled with hard work, great memories, and plenty of reasons to cheer! 🌪️💙💛

Behind the Scenes, Ahead of Schedule

Before the halls fill with students, classrooms come alive, and the familiar sounds of a new school year return, there is a tremendous amount of work happening behind the scenes. 💙💛

Today, we want to give a heartfelt THANK YOU to our incredible 12-month employees who have been working hard all summer to prepare our campuses and buildings for the return of our students and staff next week.

From cleaning and maintaining our facilities to making sure classrooms, common areas, grounds, and everything in between are ready to go, your dedication helps create a safe, welcoming, and positive environment for our entire school community.

Your work may not always be in the spotlight, but it makes a huge difference.
