Please note that, while our current hours do not include Mondays, our sister branches will be closed for Labor Day on Monday, September 7th.

We are getting close to our re-opening date!!!
This month our staff, board members and a few volunteers will be working hard to unpack and set up the library in its new configuration. We are still on track to open sometime in October (date TBD by our progress with the work ahead).
With this in mind, it's a good time for us to offer the opportunity to folks who would like to support our library as a volunteer. We accept volunteers starting at age 14 and it's a great way to get community service hours for the National Honor Society, scout badges etc.
Adult and teen volunteers are a key piece of keeping the library humming. Afterall, we started as a great community effort once upon a time. (Check the comments for more on this story.) Whether you are able to be a steady volunteer - maybe weekly or monthly - or are interested in helping with specific tasks or supporting programs, we would love to welcome you as part of our volunteer team.
