Ladder 52 Assists Company 89 on Working Fire

At 07:41 hours, Ladder 52 was dispatched to assist Station 89 (Harleysville Community Fire Company) as automatic aid on a reported dwelling fire. Callers reported smoke in the area from a home. Initial arriving officers reported a 2 story single family home and confirmed a working fire. Ladder 52, crew of 5, arrived as the first ladder company. The ladder's crew split initiating primary searches, ventilation, and exterior egress access. Crews worked alongside mutual aid engine companies to expose hidden fire and search for potential extension. The ladder company operated for approximately 2 hours before being released by command.

LFFC Attends National Night Out

Tuesday Evening, Lower Frederick Fire Company had the opportunity to attend the National Night Out Event. Hosted by Peace In Zion United Church of Christ, LFFC attended along with Lower Frederick Township Police, Plymouth Community Ambulance Association, and Swiftwater 78-2 (Upper Salford Fire Company). Local establishments and food vendors were also present. Additionally, State Representative Donna Scheuren and State Senator Tracy Pennycuick attended the event.

We would like to thank the community for attending, and Peace In Zion church for hosting another successful event!

Annual Steak Nite Returns with Success

Saturday August 1st, Lower Frederick Fire Company Hosted our annual Steak Nite fundraiser. With resounding success, we would like to thank everyone who attended and supported us again this year, we truly appreciate your support!

A huge thank you to the crew of Earl Township Vol. Fire Co. No.1's Engine 19 for standing by to ensure uninterrupted coverage, and allowing our members to dedicate themselves to the success of the event.

Preparation for this event begins far before Saturday's event, LFFC also extends a thank you to Moccia's Train Stop for food for our members setting up Thursday Night.

In the end, Lower Frederick Fire Company would like to thank everyone who attended or supported our event, these fundraisers help offset various costs to the fire company throughout the year. We hope everyone had an enjoyable time, and we look forward to next years event!
