Here's the portion of the School Committee meeting from Monday night about the extensive new school naming process for the "Cushing Hatherly Project". 80 students, educators, administrators, community members, and the Scituate Historical Society have been working together and researching since last summer on name suggestions. Lots of great suggestions have come up over these months, and through a difficult but exciting and educational process, they have been narrowed down to three. The survey is open now through March 9th at the link in the first comment below. Note that this is a survey, and not a vote.

This is a very important meeting happening on Wednesday March 4th at 6PM at the Gates dinning commons (and on Zoom) about the Scituate Elementary School Redistricting.

Scituate Public Schools will hold an important elementary school redistricting information session this week. This redistricting will affect ALL elementary schools. I was honored to be at the Topping Off Ceremony today and sign the final structural beam that we got to see be secured into place for the Cushing Hatherly School Project. This has been an exciting project to be a part of that is currently still ahead of schedule and below budget.
