Over the past couple of weeks, Our firefighters have been actively expanding their knowledge and obtaining new certifications.

Firefighters Casey and Collier attended the New York State Technical Rescue Conference, where they enhanced their skills and knowledge by training with industry-leading experts in low-angle/high-angle rescue and confined space rescue.

We congratulate Firefighters DeRepentingy, Sarsick, and Baker on completing the New York State Rescue Technician Basic Course.

Additionally, we congratulate Firefighters Sarsick, Baker, and Brombacher on completing the Confined Space Rescue Technician course.

We also completed a confined space rescue exercise with aircraft fuels maintenance testing our response capabilities.

They have all brought back valuable information, updated tactics, and enhanced skill sets to the agency, which will contribute to our ongoing efforts to provide the best possible fire emergency services to the base, local community, and the state!

Always a pleasure assisting our mutual aid partners and helping ensure the safety of the community!
