Another beautiful, sunny day at Point Lookout! Come down for a visit and stop by the Fort for the Friends of Point Lookout's POW event (9am to 3pm)!

Charges are per vehicle today, $3 per vehicle for Maryland residents, $5 per vehicle for out of state. Veterans enter for free. The office will be open until 4pm to buy or renew passes.

It should be a beautiful day at Point Lookout! Come see the Friends of Point Lookout and visiting reenactors for our Prisoner of War event at Fort #3, from 9am to 4pm. Park entry is per vehicle, just $3 per car for Maryland residents and $5 per car for those from out of state.

The fishing pier at Point Lookout State Park will be closed for repairs starting October 1, 2024, and is set to reopen Spring 2025. During this time, you can still enjoy fishing at other designated spots along the Chesapeake Bay and Potomac River. The renovation will bring new railings, surface improvements, and essential structural updates.
