We all know this is a lie! How does Hartford get away with this??? I'm going to explain-

This month the state Bonding Commission approved $145 million to pay down portions of the public benefits charge on your electric bill, specifically the hardship and covid-era arrearages and EV charging stations.

Ratepayers will save a few dollars a month from now until April, 2027 on their electric bill...

And, taxpayers are now responsible for the $45-60 million dollars of interest over the term of the bond!

Paying the electric bill with a credit card is not the solution to decreasing electric rates!

This is an election year gimmick and another Hartford shell game with your tax money!
