Today is A1C Elizabeth Jacobson’s birthday…She would have been 40.

Tragically, on 28 September 2005, A1C Jacobson paid the ultimate price in service to our Nation; becoming the first Security Forces, and first female, Airman, to die during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

To her family, friends and fellow Wingmen, thank you for continuing to honor her as her service honors us all.
