Soldiers and Army Civilians from U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) and ARTRANS HQ came together today for an early morning ruck march to celebrate the U.S. Army’s 251st Birthday.

The group covered roughly 5–6 miles side‑by‑side — sharing laughs, pushing through the miles, and building the kind of camaraderie that has defined the Army since 1775. This wasn’t about competition or unit lines; it was about coming together as one team to honor the legacy of the Soldiers who came before us.

A simple ruck, a strong turnout, and a great way to kick off the upcoming Army Birthday.

Chief of Staff CAPT Victor Cunningham gave United States Air Force Academy cadets an overview of ARTRANS during their visit to Scott Air Force Base. Afterward, Col. Marcus McNabb, deputy director of the Joint Distribution Process Analysis Center, and his team briefed them on ARTRANS’ Transportation Engineering Agency.

The visit was part of a multi‑day immersion designed to introduce the cadets to the diverse missions and units operating across the installation.
