Lt. Gen. Sonkiss gathered AMC wing commanders and Headquarters staff at Scott AFB for Phoenix Rally, May 27, 2026. The group spent the day evaluating vignettes and lessons from ongoing operations, with a sharp focus on improving mobility readiness for the future.

“It is unbelievable what AMC and the Total Force accomplished over the last year and a half. You delivered for TRANSCOM and our Nation at a level no one in this seat would’ve ever imagined,” said Sonkiss to her commanders. “Continue to engage, continue to listen, don’t be afraid to make a decision, and don’t be afraid to adjust. Most of all lead with heart. Lead with courage. And don’t forget to celebrate your successes and tell your Airmen thank you. I could not be more proud of this team.”
