Update....
We have completed repairs and the boil water notice has been issued for thr next 24 hours.

We are making repairs to a water main break along Erwin road near Sugar Camp rd.
If you live in that area you may experience low pressure or no water.
The repairs are taking longer then usual do to the limited access to the area from the heavy rain falls over night.
There will be a boil water notification for the area once service is restored.

We have issued a precautionary boil water notice for the next 24 hours.

Widespread showers and thunderstorms are forecast across the area this afternoon and into the evening, with some capable of becoming severe. The environment supports a multi-hazard threat.
Primary Threats Include:
💨 Damaging Winds: This is the main threat. Swaths of 50–60 mph gusts will be possible in severe storms, with isolated gusts up to 70 mph.
🌧️ Torrential Rain: Heavy downpours will accompany these storms, which may cause highly localized flooding.
🌪️ Tornadoes & Hail: A line-embedded tornado or two and isolated instances of quarter-sized hail are also possible.
Timing: Storms may develop as early as noon and continue into the evening.
