❤️ 💙 Making a Difference in Our Community!

Our students had a fantastic day volunteering at St. Francis Soup Kitchen! From organizing food boxes in the kitchen storage and pantry to helping community members select groceries and picking up trash around the building, our students worked hard and made a positive impact.

We’re proud of our students for giving back to the community and representing our Lakeland Tribe so well! Great job! 👏

📚 A Day of Learning, Collaboration, and Growth!

Today, our Lakeland teachers and administrators had the opportunity to attend educational workshops and network with colleagues from neighboring districts at the NEIU 19 Educational Expo.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to NEIU 19 for organizing this valuable event, North Pocono School District for hosting, educational vendors and sponsors who shared valuable resources including Lackawanna College, Marywood University, Johnson College, AIM, Care Options for Kids, First in Math, Frizzle, Leahy Life Plan, and USTA Middle States, and the educators and administrators who volunteered their time and expertise to lead informative breakout sessions.

A special shout-out to our very own Lakeland presenters, Dr. Shiver and Mrs. Sledzinski, for sharing their knowledge and expertise with fellow educators!

We are grateful for opportunities like these that encourage collaboration, inspire new ideas, and support continued growth for our educators and, ultimately, our students. ❤️ 💙
