Yesterday, E1, E4, and Sq1 responded to a trash/grass fire in McAlmont Fire Department district.
Then, Our officers had a good meeting with South Bend Fire District #10 officers, discussing future mutual aid training, and strengthening the relationship between the two departments. Just as we were wrapping up our meeting, we were dispatched to West Pulaski Fire Department (Little Rock, Arkansas) www.wpfirerescue.org with the Pulaski County Tanker Task Force - Arkansas way out almost in Bigelow.
About an hour after that call, we were dispatched to assist southbend with multiple fires on interstate 40. All units were clear around 1am..

Just as we were loaded up from fire fest, we were paged to a structure fire off faulkner lake rd. Sq1, E4, Tr1, T2, E1, and T1 responded. Sq1 got on scene and advised it was just burn pile. Home owner was advised we are still under a burn ban, and fire was extinguished. Thanks to McAlmont Fire Department E1 and T1 for the response..
