Today we recognized and celebrated our first round of “Pawsitive” Students here at Southmoreland Middle School. Being a positive student means more than just good grades—it’s about the choices you make every day.
Positive students:
Show kindness and respect to classmates, teachers, and staff
Come to school ready to learn and try their best
Make good decisions, even when no one is watching
Support others and help create a safe, welcoming school community
Demonstrate responsibility, effort, and perseverance
When you are a positive student, you help make our school a place where everyone can learn, grow, and feel valued. Your actions—big and small—matter.
To all of our students being recognized: we see you, we appreciate you, and we are proud of you. Keep being leaders, role models, and positive influences in our school.
