Hey y'all!

There have been some concerns about garbage not being picked up today. Republic was contacted. They shared that one of the drivers called off sick today and the remaining driver on duty was unable to handle the work load alone.

They will hopefully be able to get to everyone as quickly as they can throughout the remainder of the week.

I am so incredibly proud of our departments hard work in bringing this individual to justice and put behind bars where they belong.

Great, great job to the Scottdale Police Officers responsible for getting this horrible person off the streets and helping to get the victim some much needed justice.

🚨Please note that the individual that was arrested is NOT the owner of Hull Masonry in Scottdale. They have no relation to one another.🚨

How incredibly fortunate we are to have so many dedicated men and women willing to risk their lives to keep others safe. ♥️

Please remember all that they do on a volunteer basis when you're considering where your yearly donations will go.

Hi there.

It has come to my attention that some photos have been circulating showing what appears to be a rather unsettling Cat In The Hat roaming around Scottdale and surrounding areas.

Well, I am so very happy to report that as far as we can tell Scottdale is not currently under attack by a 6ft tall storybook cat. lol. The pictures being shared are created by ai and while they may look convincing at first glance, there is no reason to believe a costumed Cat In The Hat is roaming our peaceful streets terrorizing residents.

Should an actual Cat in the Hat appear in the borough, I have been assured that his known weaknesses include responsible adults, reasonable bedtimes and possibly the Scottdale Police Department. 🤣

There is no cause for alarm at this time. Scottdale is safe and we are keeping a watchful eye for any suspiciously tall hats roaming about. 👀

Stay safe Scottdale and remember, ai can create some pretty convincing pictures and videos so when something seems a little too strange to be true, it probably deserves a second glance before you let the panic slip in.
