Legal Case to Create New Health Guidelines for Wireless Technology and 5G - Won by the CHD!

The Children’s Health Defense WON a historic victory in one of the two cases CHD currently has against the FCC - the case challenging the FCC’s radiofrequency emissions guidelines, which are the health and safety guidelines for wireless technology and 5G.

On Friday, August 13, the Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit ruled that the FCC’s failure to provide a reasoned explanation for its determination that its 25-year-old guidelines adequately protect against the harmful effects of exposure to radiofrequency radiation unrelated to cancer, renders its decision capricious, arbitrary and not evidence-based, in violation of the Administrative Procedures Act (APA).

You may have noticed that there are a lot of flagpoles popping up in Scotts Valley, with American flags and California state flags. Did you know that cell towers are sometimes disguised as flagpoles? It's better looking than some cell towers, but it's still a cell tower. In Scotts Valley there are many flagpoles on one street. The small cells are supposed to be 1500 feet from each other according to the SV small cell ordinance to decrease microwave exposure. Is that happening? If anyone can get an answer from the city, please email us or send a Facebook message.

Are small cell 4G/5G cell towers safe?
Research disputes the safety research is based on 1996 technology. The cities may lose local control of decisions due to the Federal government's push to put small cells in cities as fast as possible. Why not pause installations until it's proven safe, rather than push forward with unsafe technology?

Jan. 25, 2021 -A landmark lawsuit case against the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) contests that 5G and Wireless Technology is safe and asserts that the harms are proven and that an epidemic of sickness exists.

After the FCC last month found no evidence of harm caused by wireless technology, CHD and other groups sued — and included 11,000 pages of evidence refuting the FCC’s conclusion.
