SVPD had six teams participate in the annual SJFD Burn Foundation Co****le Cup. This was the most in history!! Thank you to SVFD for hosting such a wonderful event for such a worthy cause. We will definitely be back next year to take home the Cup. It’s going to look great in our lobby.

We are thrilled to introduce the newest addition to our traffic safety team: a brand new 2026 Harley Davidson Road Glide!

This motorcycle isn't just about looks—it’s a powerful new tool dedicated to keeping our community's roads safe. From traffic enforcement to community events, this Road Glide will help our motor unit stay agile, visible, and proactive.

This addition to our fleet was made possible through a generous grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety. We are incredibly grateful for their continued partnership and shared commitment to reducing traffic collisions and saving lives.

We are proud to support Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Northern California by participating in this year’s Law Enforcement Torch Run! Even City Council Member Greg Wimp joined in the fun!

This incredible organization does so much to foster inclusion, community, and joy through sports, and we are honored to run alongside these amazing athletes each year.

It’s a beautiful morning for The Santa Cruz Law Enforcement Torch Run. Santa Cruz County LEO’s will be carrying the Flame of Hope this morning leaving Natural Bridges at 10am and running along the beautiful West Cliff Drive with local Special Olympics Athletes.
