Self‑confidence in toddlers grows in small, everyday moments. When toddlers help with real tasks, hear clear explanations, and see adults work through challenges, they begin to understand themselves as competent learners. Naming their effort, giving specific responsibilities, joining their pretend play, and guiding them through frustration all strengthen their sense of mastery. Even asking for help becomes a confidence‑building skill when adults treat it as a strength. These experiences lay the foundation for resilience, problem‑solving, and a positive sense of self.
