We believe it is important for small businesses and small towns to support one another. Recently Fayetteville, TN suffered a devastating fire on their beautiful square and several of our favorite small businesses lost their buildings, their merchandise and their livelihoods. One way we can show them we care is to bolster downtown Fayetteville with our presence and our dollars. Take a day trip. Eat at one of the great restaurants. Try a slawburger! Visit the remaining shops on the square and buy some goodies to bring home. Consider giving directly to Fayetteville Main Street as they give back to their community. Fayetteville Main Street director, Aimee Byrd, is a Scottsboro girl and she is a fantastic, hard-working asset to her community. Her office is right on the square. FMS is accepting tax-deductible donations that will be used to aid the displaced businesses who have lost so much and whose recovery will cost even more. FMS youth leaders will be holding a barbecue fundraiser on February 19. Other business owners are also joining in to show love to their neighbors. Aimee has listed these businesses on the FMS blog, https://www.fayettevillemainstreet.com/.../when-downtown.../ . Any little thing you can do will be appreciated. Fayetteville, we love you!
