Jackson County Revenue Commissioner

It is a great pleasure to announce that one of our employees was voted "Best of Jackson County"!

MaryAnn Burgess served the public admirably in the Tags & Titles office for 10 years before retiring a few weeks ago.

While we certainly miss seeing her in the office, we are grateful that she deservedly received this award and that she is enjoying her retirement.

Congrats, MaryAnn!

As the year draws to a close, we remind you that tax bills were due on October 1st, 2025. However, a grace period extends the payment deadline through December 31st. Our office will operate on a half-day schedule on Christmas Eve and will reopen on January 5th at the New Courthouse Annex. To encourage timely payment, penalties will be waived for payments made on January 5th. Conveniently, payments can be made online at www.jacksoncountyal.gov or by mailing to PO Box 307, Scottsboro, AL. All payments postmarked by January 5th will not be penalized.
