Limrock/aspel fire and rescue we are a volunteer firedeptartment we serve around 30 square miles and 25-50 businesses in our area!

Multiple roads in our community are flooded and they are only going to get worse as we have more rain coming!

If you encounter water covering a roadway, TURN AROUND and DON’T DROWN.

Never attempt to drive through flooded roads. The depth of the water may be impossible to judge, the roadway beneath may be washed away, and even a small amount of moving water can carry a vehicle off the road.

Under no circumstances should you drive around barricades or road closure signs. These closures are in place for your safety. Driving around them is not only extremely dangerous, but it is also illegal.

Please avoid unnecessary travel until conditions improve. If you must be on the road, slow down, stay alert, and never take chances with floodwaters.

Your destination is not worth your life.

Emergency Responders risk our lives daily to protect our communities. Everyone please remember that The Move Over Law is for any vehicles with emergency lights activated or any hazardous vehicle in roadway you're supposed to move over as far as possible for the safety of all responders. If you don't this is what happens an accident from not abiding the Move Over Law!
